Bromley, SE20

Here the residents had just put in a new condensing boiler, which meant that the old hot water tank living in the airing cupboard was redundant.

It made sense to remove the airing cupboard altogether and install a shower in the space instead.

There is nothing more disruptive than not being able to wash in your own home. I made sure that I focused on the shower first which meant the residents were never without washing facilities.

A ventilation extractor activated by the light switch was installed so that hot, damp air created by the shower could be extracted, reducing the risk of the build up of condensation in the downstairs bathroom.

Kennington, SE11

The residents here wanted the whole bathroom gutted.

Removing the old tiles revealed that the walls were in a pretty bad state so I first repaired these before fitting the new bathroom.

We are delighted with our new bathroom. His work was very tidy, when he had finished for the day the bathroom was accessible and the surfaces free from dust. He made sure that we were not without the opportunity to shower.
